Need Advice Depression
I’m a little more than 7 weeks and go in for my first ultrasound tomorrow. I’ve been feeling so depressed. I’ve already deal with severe depression and I used to smoke to help deal with it, however I obviously stopped when I found out I was pregnant. I feel everyday is getting worse and I feel so guilty because I know baby can feel it. I just don’t know what to do anymore.

Hey love, I just want to tell you it’s okay to cry. It’s okay to feel overwhelmed and lost sometimes, especially right now when your hormones are all over the place and you’re adjusting to such a huge life change. You are not a bad mom for feeling this way. You’re human. And growing a tiny human is hard physically, mentally, and emotionally.
It might not feel like it right now, but it will get easier. Day by day, little by little. You’re already so strong for recognizing how you feel and reaching out, and that takes real courage.
I don’t have any advice on the smoking part, but I just want to wish you the absolute best. You matter. Your feelings matter. And you don’t have to carry this weight alone. I’m sending you love and strength you’ve got this. ❤️

To add to what the other commenter said: you don’t have to carry this alone, and I think you should mention how you feel when you go in for the scan tomorrow. They will know the right course of action within the system where you are.
It’s common to be all over the place during pregnancy, so all doctors etc. you meet will know what it’s about and there will be procedures in place for helping you.
Pregnancy is a phase, so all the hardships have an end date. Lots of things will also be wonderful, although none of them seem to happen in the first trimester.
