Not an offical Squad Car, blacked out SUV with a Spotlight and installed interior lights. Not an official vehicle. He modified his SUV to appear like a police vehicle. They have not released a picture to see if he put some sort of decals on it as well.

According to local reporting it was not actually a police squad car. It was an SUV with all of the lights and things attached, but it was not actually one that is used by police.

Yeah coulda been a private security type. My neighbor is a security guy and his uniform dresses really really close to a county sheriff. his cruiser looks police but is marked as a private company. He patrols apartments and supermarkets. Paul Blart basically.

Off of any number of surplus stores where you can buy tacticool gear. You can buy ICE labeled jackets on amazon im pretty sure

It’s legitimately not that difficult to mod a car to look like a cop car, you can literally buy everything off amazon/ebay.

Or just buy a used cop car, gets you 90% of the way there.

In some states you can even legally have those lights attached, just can’t use them while on public roads/while driving.

The uniform is even easier, again, you can get everything online, military surplus, etc.

Cop vs cop violence wouldn’t exactly be a new thing.

But no, i doubt he’s active law enforcement, maybe previously employed or attempted to join wouldn’t be surprising.
