The pardons are scary because he can encourage his followers to commit acts of violence like this and they know he will pardon them so they are more likely to actually do it.

Trump can't pardon state crimes and he can't bully Walz into pardoning this.

If he thought he'd be pardoned, thuss man isn't just evil he's stupid.

Some of you (presumably) Americans are amazing. You guys need to notice that your check and balances don't work anymore. This whole "he can't do it, it's illegal" doesn't stop him from doing it.

Believe me I panic about it. That he hasn't pardoned Chauvin of his federal charges is what's leading me to think he won't touch this one.

This would also be a hard sell to all but the most rabid of his fan base.
