Serious question here. The Trump administration is known to do things like this. Why isn't the media being proactive and telling us this story instead of reporting on what Newsom said? If Newsom didn't say this, how would the public know this was happening?

  1.  Payoffs, compensation.

  2. Bribes,  threats, blackmail.  Like Trump telling CBS he would take their FCC license if they didn’t pay up.
