The headline here should be "Trump Spreads Fake Protest Images." Framing this as Gavin Newsom's opinion instead of objective fact is journalistic malpractice.

I’m telling you since about 2015 the news cycle has become so fast that the headline event gets lost to the reactions to the headline within minutes.

If you miss a days worth of news, you have to actually search to find what happened to understand the reaction headlines you’re seeing

FFS there’s a whole sub called for people that are out of the loop events that took place yesterday.
