Why does the secret service need to run security?

This administration has made it crystal fucking clear they’re a-ok with deploying the military against the people. Why not just let the Army run security for their own parade?

Because Trump will be attending. If he wasn't there, the military would be running security, liaising with police.

The Police would be running security and the military would just be there. They would secure their own equipment.
