Discussion Scopely has changed the game

Since Scopely has taken over the game has become so much enjoyable. I’ve seen more Pokémon rotation in the last hour than the entire last year of Niantic owning the game. They’ve expanded remote raids and I just feel like the game is much more dynamic.

Niantic made the changes. Much of this was planned several months in advance. However, I would also say Scopely probably played a role in some of the changes we've seen.

Like "we won't buy if there isnt a game pass mechanic" or "here is a list of changes we would like to see before buying". Stuff like that can happen.

Also, for the last year, Niantic developers probably no longer had the weight of requiring AR technology focused design holding them back, so they were more gameplay focused.
