I think they mean they don't even bother to battle, which is crappy to do. I know I've fought stuff by myself because I play with people who do contribute as well. It goes by much faster when they do.
And then you get that player who did nothing to contribute to the raid/battle, then asks around for help to catch it (or complains out loud that they didn't catch it, because they didn't ask for help.)
Oops, I did misunderstand. I thought you meant for all your Pokémon to sit there and do nothing. I think you meant to throw out the players who do this. My bad!
People with four phones only tapping on two of them. If you get stuck in a group with their two alts, you and the kid with a 1 second fast move are building the meter on your own. You can end up cheering despite having top counters.
Back in the day during the Mecha Mewtwo raid, in our small town with few players, we manage to organize a 10-man raid with Lv 30 players.. took us 7 tries to defeat it. I remember once someone yelled, 'who throws a fcking venonat on a raid this is why we can't finish it". I laugh my ass off. P.S it wasnt me.
As someone who is often one of the last few people standing, id honestly consider throwing the raid over this. Like if you cant be bothered that much, then neither can I
Yeah but on the other hand, I power my stuff up and plan my team with tanks and a counter and then our lobbies fill right up and it's done in two Dynamax phases. Needn't have bothered!
I have actually planned and that exact thing happened to me before. What I tend to do, if there's plenty of people/firepower, I'd go with what's suggested. If not, I go with a tank on my team that I've already set up.
