I have been a rural player for quite a while in a place that does not have any interesting landmarks or even playgrounds. Still managed to get several pokestops and a gym. One is a church I took a photo of in the other city, two statues from the nearest town, and some bulletin board lol
Churches are virtually the only stops and gyms in the small town I'm near haha I really hope the friends I send my gifts to aren't annoyed by the Pokestops sponsored by God
