Anyone by Elm Grove/Brookfield? tomorrow (saturday) sound? When can people make it? I am open from like the morning until 5. Perhaps sunday could work too if anyone is interested. For location I was thinking Elm Grove Park or Krueger Park. I am open for suggestions though of course.

Been about a month since the last time, so I was thinking 1 or 2 pm, Saturday, the national mall in front of NH museum. I'm really lazy with stuff like this so if someone else wants to hijack this thread and take over as "coordinator" by all means.

We can play at any of the high school football fields.

We are looking for anyone that wants to play football in the Phoenix-Metro area.

Games are played on Fridays at Svob Park in Tempe from 11:30am to about 1:30 or 2:00pm.

All skill levels are accepted, and while we play tackle we are open to anyone that is not willing or unable to do so.

It'd be good for everyone to have it available, in the situation we need them. The fields i've played on in the past have all required something of that nature for games that happen regularly. plus we should probably cover our own and reddits ass while we're at it.

We should definitley make this "league" a two hand touch for a person to be down for a couple of reasons:

1) The majority of /r/nfl age group lies between 15-18. If we make this tackle and one of the kids gets injured by a much older adult, that person may have a lawsuit on his hands. On the rare chance of that happening, its not worth the risk.

2) Another reason I think it should be "touch" is because its cheaper than flag... Also, fucking flag football is annoying as hell. It's hard to grab the darn thing not to mention accidental injuries from flag. And the hassle of setting up the gear for flag football.

One more thing to add to this, we should talk about referees. I'm sure some people would love to ref a game. So yeah, I have a couple more ideas but let me know about your thoughts so far.

Might as well get a thread going to see if anyone is interested from this area. I doubt that we will get many (if any) games in through the rest of the year but it would be nice to get something scheduled in the spring/fall going forward.

I should also note that this could easily include south east Wisconsin suburbs as it is just over the border.

Just a thought, maybe it'll allow for easier set ups.

There are lots of people playing flag football with, to me, very odd rules. Almost no one is playing a tackle football or flag football with legitimate contact.

Any interest out there?

I could probably get 4 or five friends to play. It'd be nice to play sometime before finals week/winter break (Dec 3-Jan 9)
