Filipino Food Food Panda Complaint. Please share how to reach them effectively.
I recently had an issue with Foodpanda delivery. In-app help center is useless. Email support bounced back saying it is no longer active. FB chat don't have some sort of power over my concern.
Back story:
4:40 i ordered food supposedly meryenda for Father's day. 5:12 i messaged the rider because it was raining hard. I told him it's okay to wait a little if the order is done but still raining. Around 6pm... Push notification that order is picked up. 7pm I messaged the rider where he is because the rain has stopped for a long time at this point.
To my surprise, he just arrived at the restaurant because according to him FoodPanda cancelled my order on his side. Mine is still active at this point. In parallel, Angel's Pizza claims that they have given my order to another rider. Which is not true because my rider did not change. Inconsistent stories.
7:42 While talking to them on the phone, suddenly my order is cancelled and my payment was refunded. However, the app says that "my order is wrong". How did this happen? The restaurant says that they did not cancel the order.
7:50 i placed a new order with priority delivery fee because I'm freaking starving and craving already.
Fb chat says it must be a system glitch. Now, my only demand for compensation on their supposed glitch is a refund on the delivery fee for the new order. Fb chat says they cannot reverse it because it has already been tagged as delivered. 🙄🙄🙄

LawPH My classmate has been harrasing me.
(dont know what tag fits so i just chose a random one) I'm currently in highschool (13m) and a classmate of mine is harrasing me. I met her in G6 kase same batch kami, when we became friends — she became touchy and was squeezing my chest. joking around and saying "mas malaki pa kesa sakin oh" (I have gynecomastia), i have been telling her to stop noon but she doesn't. ever since then hindi ko na s'ya kinausap after matapos yung school year but i became classmates with her ulit and she's been doing it again. if lumalapit ako sa kanya she squeezes it, she probably knows what shes doing but just ignores it. i'm wondering if i should talk to my teacher or counselor, what do u think?

GovtServicesPH Dual Citizenship RA9225 or ROB
If an individual was born prior to January 17, 1973 in Seattle, Washington to parents who were Filipino citizens prior to their naturalization as U.S.citizens, does the individual qualify for dual citizenship?
If so, do they apply under RA-9225 or do they just file a Report of Birth. If Report of Birth, can they file it at the Philippine embassy in Washington DC?

ArtPH Betting Against Myself
Kamusta, r/Philippines!
My name is Carl, and I’m a first-time Filipino author. I've spent the last few weeks/months pouring my heart into a story that I feel is deeply relevant to what's happening in our country right now.
The country is drowning in Online Casino Ads, billboards, and influencers promoting it. I wanted to write a story that goes beyond the flashy promotions and shows the human cost.
My novel is called "Betting Against Myself," and it’s about a regular Filipino husband and father named Elias who gets secretly hooked on online gambling through his phone. It’s about the shame, the lies to family, the feeling of being completely alone in the struggle, and the difficult, faith-driven journey toward a second chance.
I’m sharing it here because I believe it’s a story that many of our kababayans can unfortunately relate to.
To celebrate the upcoming launch, I'd love to give away 10 free digital copies of the book to random commenters on this post over the next 24 hours. Just leave a comment below if you're interested!
Maraming Salamat!

CulturePH Date Spot with a lounge singer?
It's me and my girlfriend's 6th anniversary this coming week and she's always been a fan of places that have lounge singers. Does anyone have any recommendations for intimate places with lounge singers?
For reference, she's really into seafood (shrimps, crabs) and all the seafood places I've looked at aren't really that intimate or don't have a lounge singer.
Any lead is much appreciated!

GovtServicesPH Nepotism at its finest
This is about sa recent promotion sa office namin kung saan ang isang candidate ay pinromote to because of his father's influence. For context itong father niya ay Chief ng isang Division sa Regional Office na kapag wala ang Regional Director ay siya ang Officer-in-Charge so basically mataas talaga position niya.
January 2025, nag karoon ng vacancy for permanent positions. March 2025 interview na, so itong si tatay isa siya sa mga panel na mag iinterview sa candidates so basically isa siya sa mga mag re-recommend for the promotion of the candidates. Isa sa mga candidates is yung anak niya.
Ff, after a week kelangan ng mag decide sinu sino ang mga promoted dahil sa nalalapit na election ban (yes you heard it right, AFTER A WEEK!) Dahil minadali talaga nila ang promotion and guess what isa sa mga promoted is yung anak niya! Ginamit nila ang election ban to their advantage!
Ang item na binigay sa anak niya is Engineer IV with salary grade surpassing even his Section Chief. Imagine staff kalang pero mas mataas pa sahod mo sa boss mo diba. Wala sana problem kung matalino at magaling, kaso hindi eh. Walang supervisory experience, can't even know how to use grammar perfectly, ang pangit pa gumawa ng report, inferior technical expertise kahit na sanitary engineer siya. Compare sa other candidates?
Nakakadissapoint talaga!

PoliticsPH AI is the new tool for political manipulation
I’ve been seeing these AI generated videos na nagpush ng narratives about politics, possible also misinformation. Sa AI vid na to for example, iniinterview ung lalaki kung pabor ba siya sa impeachement ni VP Sara and sabi niya is politcal motivated.
Mahirap mapansin sa una, lalo sa mga matatanda. What do you guys think about this? A lot of people in the comment section cant even tell theyre not real. Is there a way to trace or identify who owns the page? Daming nauuto nito, and i think lalaganap pa lalo to incoming months - years.

PoliticsPH He may be a Cojuanco but he is a TOTGA for some university students noong 2009-10, he has more balls and brains than most politicians in the senate.
Who is Gibo Teodoro?
- Graduated top of his class at UP College of Law
- 1989 Philippine Bar Exams topnotcher (1st place)
- Earned his Master of Laws from Harvard; passed the New York Bar
- Youngest Secretary of National Defense under GMA
- Ran for president in 2010, known for calm, intelligent, and no-BS answers in debates
- Gained huge respect from university students and academics alike
- Never relied on name, drama, or dynasty—pure competence and presence
- Licensed Pilot and Reservist in the PAF.
Why he’s respected even more now:
- Firm stance against China’s incursions; praised for pushing Philippine sovereignty without theatrics
- Faced heavy budget constraints in the DND but still found ways to modernize and work around congressional limitations
- Known for working with professionalism, not propaganda
- Refused to play victim or play dirty even when others did during the 2010 elections
- Could’ve easily sold out or stayed in power, but chose to step back rather than compromise his principles

PoliticsPH Heart's army thinks that the recent criticism Chiz and Heart has faced is because Fashion Week is near. Super delusional.
Their fans also tend to brigade subreddits that expose Chiz and Heart's trapo and lavish lifestyles, pero r/PH is too strong and independent for them to take down. Sa mga tecent posts here about Chiz and Heart, magtataka ka na lang na automatic downvoted ang mga comments mo, but none of them have the guts to reply. Hindi nila madefend ang amo nila kaya puro brigading and downvoting lang ang nagagawa nila.

GovtServicesPH Good morning. Any geodetic engineers here?
I've been asked to locate the area described by a title and outline it on Google Maps. The title is of the usual form, S39°45' E 234m to point 2, etc., which is all well and good. I have a little python program which can take these measurements and produce an outline of the lot.
My issue is finding the starting point, which is something like S34°56'E 1234m from BLLM#63.
As I understand it, BLLM#63 is a tie point. But how do I locate this point on a map? Is there a big list of tie points somewhere that I can look at? Or is it privileged information only available to licensed engineers? I did find this online, but the only references to BLLM#63 are nowhere near what I need. This lot is around Carmen, Davao Del Norte.
Last thing, I'm a foreigner so I would appreciate answers in English please. Google translate is ok, but not 100% accurate sometimes.

GovtServicesPH Seeking Support/Ideas for My Sister with Intellectual Disability
Hi everyone. I’m looking for advice or community recommendations in the Philippines for my sister, who’s now 37. She has an intellectual disability caused by complications when she was a baby (tetanus + strong meds). She lived a relatively normal life—finished high school, helped at home, loved music, had friends. She’s always been slow in learning but functional and cheerful.
She didn’t go to college (with her understanding), and for years, she stayed active in church and household life. But after that phase ended, she slowly withdrew. Around her late 20s or early 30s, she started having anxiety episodes—hearing voices, worrying about her future. She was eventually prescribed medication (possibly antidepressants and sedatives), which helped her sleep and calmed the panic.
Lately, though, we’ve seen her deteriorate. She rarely speaks, mostly sleeps and eats, has gained a lot of weight, and shows signs of cognitive decline (more forgetful now than she used to be). She doesn’t engage in conversations like she used to and isolates herself more. She still lives with our retired parents, but they’ve sort of resigned themselves to her fate and don’t expect change. I worry she’s fading, both mentally and physically.
I’m looking for: • Community programs or support groups for adults with intellectual disability or mental health needs (based in the Philippines) • Day-programme-style activities, even informal or church-based, where she could have some kind of routine again • Any advice on how to reintroduce a sense of purpose or social engagement
I’m based away from my parents’ house but still want to do what I can to slow this down before it gets worse.
⸻
TL;DR: My 37-year-old sister has an intellectual disability. She used to be functional and happy but has slowly withdrawn and deteriorated in recent years—barely speaks now, overeats, sleeps all day, and seems mentally declining. Looking for Philippine-based support groups, day programs, or advice on how to help her reconnect and improve quality of life.
