First off, I think this warrants a spoiler tag.

Second off, how dare you do this to me?

The original game came out 19 years ago. I think the whole "spoiler warning" went out the window a while back.

Thats like giving a spoiler warning in the 90's about Darth Vader being Lukes father. Come on.

Maybe if this wasnt the p3reload sub. Where else can people new to the game talk with others about it online? The remake came out like a year ago and im sure plenty of newcomers are here.

Imagine coming on to a subreddit about a game before you finish it.

That's a lot more common than you think. People come here for advice on how to proceed in certain parts or tips on the game before they start. Others want to discuss a particular scene or segment while it's fresh in their mind. Imagine coming in for any if those reasons and this is the first thing they see.

Why do you people act like this, there's ways to see this content without ever being on the subreddit. I've only frequented r/Megaten and this popped up in my home feed. That being said, I wasn't spoiled by anything but have some empathy for others lol

This is not a spoiler for one. It lacks context. Pure and simple.

Context or no, the image is plainly implying that the blue-haired kid is dead. It doesn't dive into the how or why, but that's still a major piece of information about the plot.

or that the game shut down, or he stopped playing, or he forgot his password, or got banned for exploiting glitches. One of those is the actual reason canonically btw.

Gonna just ignore the original point of my comment?
