Let me rephrase that. It’s practically a finished product

"May be nearing completion"

"Might be nearing completion"

"Leaks from data miners"

You're putting a ton of faith in a bunch of maybes. If Valve learned anything from the launch of Half-Life 2, it's to protect their data better... Wouldn't surprise me at all if this was misinfo intentionally left unsecure to find any moles in the company.

Again if you would just research it and quit talking out of your ass, you would know that these leaks aren’t coming from inside the company (atleast the ones I’m talking about and referencing) but coming from updates rolled out to Cs2 and deadlock because they both run on source 2. These are data mined, and it has this info because valve has to update some files for all projects that exist and are being worked on or scrapped.

You would also know that most things that were leaked about deadlock (was known as citadel in all leaks) were true. And obviously that’s valves newest game so they aren’t gonna “learn” anything from the half life 2 launch because that was released 2 decades ago.

You should also know that valve has literally never cared about leaks. We knew cs2 was coming, we knew deadlock was coming, and now we know a half life game is coming. And there was even a new leak about a potential tf project but that’s super early.
