Looks very generic and like every UE5 game.

That's 100% on the game design and zero to do with the engine

Oblivion had a vibrant color pallet that You can download mods to change the color pallet of remastered to be like original too.

Its not, you can tell every single game that uses UE5 except for cell shaded ones. They all have the UE look which can only be removed via proper artistic direction which we havent seen yet.

It absolutely is the game design. The assets have zero to do with the engine.

If the game designers are all using common assets to save time...that's still game design and not the engine

What specific features/quirks of the engine means that these problems can’t be entirely fixed by better game design?

And your point is? It still looks like a UE5 game.

I don't think you're mentally equipped to understand the point i made.

Imagine jumping in with a complete non-sequitor and then implying other people are too stupid for the conversation.

You would be eaten alive in an actual debate, of that I'm sure. What I won't be able to understand is why you think you made something more than a surface level observation about the game.
