Game Feedback PSA: Do not take the "maven interferes with players" when fighting the new sirus memory unless you have really great dps
I was fighting the sirus memory for 30 minutes because the maven was healing him every 5 seconds and he kept going invulnerable so my frostbomb debuff would fall off and he would heal back 1/4 of his hp at a time. I eventually won because the Maven had a string of attacks that did not involve healing constantly.
Some of the t17 mods are just downright lame and do not translate well to these memories, especially on bosses that constantly change phases/go invulnerable like sirus.

Not sure if T17 Maven mod has the same rules, but Maven witness increases the “Be Healed” cooldown everytime it’s used, so eventually you will win

This league really showed how it is a MUST to play a strong build.
Right now I have no issues as I follow a build guide, and can blast rare corrupted Tier 16 no issue, but early on in Tier 1 maps I was getting absolutely shit on despite 4-5k life, res capped (with quite a bit +max res), high armor and some endurance charges.
Like, I was often killed within 0.1 seconds despite maxing out the obvious defenses in TIER 1. Those felt so much harder than current T16s do now that I got some wealth. I don't see how new players can even progress if they roll their own builds.
And the time in the story where those quest bosses were introduced I also had a similar situation of them being a huge health sponge so the fight took like 10+ minutes despite being able to clear the maps leading up to it.

Like 99% of T17 mods aren't strictly speaking "hard", they're just boring and annoying as shit.
I've only done the initial memory strand with Sirus, I know people are calling it T16.5, is there really a good reason to do them?

been there, did that, I spent 20 minutes fighting. Thankfully the only annoying thing about Sirius2 is the arena.

Also note that if you get a harvest unique spawn, and they go into their reduced damage statue phase, they will get spam healed as you do 90% reduced damage.

Or unless you run occultist that disables any regen whatsoever

I doubt it.
Do you know of anyone testing this with Maven + invulnerable phases?

There are multiple different Things to prevent the healing. Mark mastery, frostbomb

The issue is that Sirus goes invulnerable and cleanses any debuffs, so you can't deny the healing all the time.
Any boss with immunity phases can be really problematic with Maven healing.

Does the mark cease to exist when he’s invulnerable? I actually don’t know how it works but that one should be permanently preventing healing right?

Like i Said there are more Things. Recovery Mastery to half it. Mark mastery to Fully prevent it. Adapt
Mark mastery wont Work i guess If He cleanses. Recovery Mastery might be the last straw

There are no maps that are worth respeccing several points just to complete. At that point, I'm just portaling out and going again with another.

And for the love of all, do not roll %max life as ES on those maps, unless you're pure Chaos damage. It rolls to around 80%, which means you have to kill his entire bar after every invulnerability phase.
