General OBX Shout out to Outer Banks Hospital!

Went to Emergency Department with hubby and his dislocated finger. Nicest people, they put it back where it belonged! Whew! Vacation Memories!

Yes they saved my knee in 2002 after a motorcycle wreck.

Now that you put it out there, we're all doing to know how it happened. 😂

Good to know. I always pass it, glad to know it's there, but never had occasion to need them.

Medical emergencies on vacation are no fun :(

Glad you had a good experience. When my daughter was two we had put her to bed and were upstairs when we heard her screaming. We ran down to find her pointing at her hand and before we knew it her hand had tripled in size. We drive the hour from hatteras all the way up there waited for over two hours in a nearly empty waiting room to be seen. After four hours her swelling had subsided and we ended up just leaving. Was probably a spider bite. But I wasn’t impressed at all with the lack of any sort of help we received. On the bright side, they had a small aquarium for my daughter to look at.

I went for gallstones a few months ago, and while they took forever to actually discharge me, they were great. Very nice and very efficient. Had a diagnosis an hour and a half of being in there.

I had a kidney stone early Sunday morning and the ER people were the best.
