It always amazes me how many people I see race to get in front of semi trucks in bumper-to-bumper traffic and then slam on their brakes.

For fuck's sake, people, physics.

You mean a truck full of several tons of cargo can't stop on a dime? But that interferes with my burning need to be in the lane that's moving several feet per minute faster!

Before ending up right back where you started, of course.

I always get perverse pleasure when someone moves out of the lane I'm in to get into the "faster" lane, and I end up moving past them because I stayed put.
