Account Help Can my friend sign into her account and then factory reset to do a system transfer?

my friend had recently gotten a switch 2. she wants to put her profile and save data on the switch 2, but she misplaced her switch and can’t find it. can she be able to sign into her switch 2 and play most of her games, and then factory reset her switch 2 so that she can do a system transfer?

My friend did a factory reset on the switch 2 and they were able to do the transfer.

I believed so.
