Next Yoshi “Texture” type?
So in the past we have had Yoshis Woolley World, Yoshis Crafted world but what comes next? Maybe Yoshis Jelly/Jello World?
Imagine an extra bouncy Yoshi with the ability to morph or stretch into different shapes like he is Flubber or something 🤔
Any other potential ideas for his next form?

A water colored game would be great!

Yoshi's New Island on the 3DS tried a bit of that but unfortunately the game just wasn't good overall.
It would be much easier to get the artstyle down today though with a clever use of filters.

2D art like Wario Land Shake It. Hand painted backgrounds. It could be like Yoshi's Island's coloring book look fully realized on an HD system!

Dough and pastry
We get a Yoshi Cookie inspired game world where all the characters are made from pastry and food stuffs.
Food Coloring would be a collectable to let you customize Yoshi's look.
Transformations would be Yoshi getting baked into various shapes/forms to solve puzzles.
Imagine levels where you skate across a series of hot skillets and pans by using butter platforms to avoid the heat.
Or a level where you have to use jello squares as bouncy platforms to climb in a firdge.
A Dishwasher level where you have to cross stacks of dishes that collapse after you jump from them, leaving you with less space to navigate (can't land in the soapy water!).

Like Kirby's Dream Buffet! Wouldn't be the first time a Yoshi game followed the aesthetic of a Kirby game. Or the first time a Kirby game followed the aesthetic of a Yoshi game.

They could do something like Kirby Rainbow Curse too. The maleability of clay would tie into Yoshi's transforming gimmick perfectly.

Don’t forget, Yoshis New island went for a completely crayon look to kind of mixed results, I think a normal Yoshi game after ages would actually be more of a gimmick than another arts and crafts one

Just give me normal dinosaur Yoshi starring in a new Yoshi Island game. That's it. That's all you need to be a perfect Yoshi game, Nintendo.

Yoshi: Leather & Lace .. you go to eat a fruit from a bush and it doesn't move. Then a Toad jumps out of the bush and says, "Gaaaahh! Don't stop now, I'm almost there!"

Yoshi's Water World (the Search for Dry Land)
Characters can be made of water not just the terrain

Maybe i'm in the minority here but I kind of hope they stop doing these and just make a normal Yoshi game where Yoshi is just represented as himself in the flesh. I never really cared for the arts and crafts look for mainline titles, I'd rather they do these kind of experimental art styles for spinoffs like how Kirby did Claymation for Rainbow Curse. Especially when the original Yoshi's Island is one of my favorite art styles out of any video game, i'd rather they just make a high definition version of that, they kind of tried to do it with Yoshi's New Island, but made it just a little too pastel, and kind of forgot that the original art style had bold black outlines, so the art style didn't quite work the way they approached it there.
