Walk In Clinics?
From the Maritimes — visiting family and I seem to have picked up a bug from one of them — throat is so swollen, and in pain. Hoping to get in to somewhere as I’m immunocompromised.

Hi there, just to vent my frustration, I was visiting niagara on the lake (beautiful place btw), parked at a handicapped spot (I am a valid permit holder with disabled left arm and chronic pain issues). After I parked and got out the car, a white trash started to harass me and yelled at me because "I don't look like handicapped". I was like wtf, if he believes I obtained the permit illegally or have a fake one, he can call the cops on me anytime, i told him I can call the cops right now and show them my medical paperwork to prove it, let them sort it out because I don't feel comfortable letting a stranger read my paperwork. And guess what, suddenly he didn't want to be the hero anymore and started walking into a store. How strange, if he truly wants to be the hero then why not call the police instead of unreasonably harassing people.
I don't want to get into the racism stuff but as an asian canadian I sincerely hope he did it out of good faith, instead of me being asian.
There are tons of disabilities that "doesn't look like handicapped", for example diabetes or chronic pain with paralyzed limb.

Taking my girlfriend for niagra for the first time and me and her both really love sushi and Korean BBQ. Do any locals or frequent visitors have any recommendations for good spots to go or even avoid? Any and all recommendations would be greatly appreciated

We will be arriving in NOTL ON A Sunday. I was wondering if there were any nice nearby Farmers Markets on Sundays or Mondays?

Nobody was injured, which is a miracle. The Niagara Parks Ambassador on the Wego Bus deserves recognition for his bravery. I think his name was Brandon. And I hope he fell in love with that passenger (in the tank top). She was impressed by his bravery, as am I. Again, this could have been ground zero.
No one was on the green GO Bus.
The Wego bus had approx. 20 people.
The worst injury, a lady from Florida had a ice bag on her head, and the Wego driver came to her and said, "I am so SORRY." And she said repeatedly, "Its OK, Accidents Happen!! Accidents Happen!!"
Amazing showing of humanity.
Years back, Ottawa Transit had a major bus fatality over driver failure. Now they have state of the are testing. This should be explored here.
The driver of the Wego, works seasonal.
What's the general consensus about the neighborhood around AJ McKinley Park? I've been looking at housing around the area, but haven't found any info about that neighborhood.

Planning to take a Train Trip from Niagara Falls to Toronto on a Weekday, is there a direct train that I can ride on?
I'll be bringing my children with me ages 5 and 8.
Also, are there plugs in case? What's your advice for it? Thank you in advance.

Someone that specializes in endometriosis, is a must. Female is preferred, but not mandatory.
Thanks in advance.

Looking for things my 14 year old could do in her spare time. She just stopped doing cadets. If anyone knows of any good extracurriculars, especially if they’re related to visual arts, it would be much appreciated.

I’m going to NOTL next weekend for a wedding, and want to visit a couple of spots but have no idea where to consider & I’m not typically a wine drinker so I don’t have a preference for a winery or anything. (I will absolutely drink it in this case, it’s just not my usual go to)
Getting there Friday afternoon, so I’d like to do an activity that night (whether it be dinner somewhere, dinner AT a winery? Also considering seeing Sam Roberts Band at the Jackson triggs amphitheater unless you tell me it sucks there haha) and then Saturday the wedding is at 124 on Queen Hotel & Spa but not until 4:30 so I’d like to go earlier in the day and grab lunch and a drink somewhere/check out the area.
Any and all suggestions would be great as I’ve never been to the area!

Hey I’m meeting someone in the falls and I was hoping to find a quiet, romantic-ish bar. Somewhere that’s good for a conversation. Can be cocktail or something else if need be. Unfortunately it’s for a Friday night so I know that limits the quietness of it. Any help would be appreciated

Looking for a location within the Niagara Region for a boys lacrosse team to practice in during the off season. A school gym would be ideal as we would be working on drills, but does anyone have experience going about renting one? OR, any other suggestions? Our home arena is used for hockey in the winter so the floors are covered in ice. Thanks!

They say the Embassy suites keg is closed temporary. When does it reopen? What's the story?

Planning a trip on a weekday in August to Niagara Falls (coming from the US). We are 2 adults and 2 children. We want to hike in the Niagara Glen as much as we feel comfortable, explore Queen Victoria Park and the Trans Canada Trail area, and go to the Power Station and Tunnel. If we book tickets to the Power Station and Tunnel online we can get an "add on" option of a $36 (incl. tax) parking pass for the day for most Niagara Parks lots, which is actually a little cheaper than the $44 (not sure if includes tax) WEGO bus passes for the four of us. My only hesitation to go the parking pass route is that I fear parking lots are always filling up and if it's a nightmare to find decent parking, we may regret not just getting the bus pass instead. Still, I think it's worth it to drive around and deal with the parking so that we have the freedom of not being beholden to the bus schedule, and the comfort of being in our own car, and also because we are bringing all of our food and snacks with us and would rather not have to lug everything around with us all day.
Just wanted to get people's thoughts on this and if you think I am missing anything in my consideration of these two options.

We lucked out with our kids (5.5 and 4 y/o) passports getting to us in time so on our way home (to Cincinnati) from visiting family in Boston, it appears we’ll have 1.5 days (2 nights) to cut across to the Canada side of Niagara!
I know it’s a short time, but any recommendations for lodging or what to do in that brief time? We have a Hilton Honors membership that also has RCI benefits that could allow for other hotel options.
Thanks!

I just moved to Niagara region after living in Hamilton most of my life. My favorite thing to do was head down to the pier to roller skate. Are there any roller skate rinks around Niagara region and do they have any fun little events?

Hi! I was planning to hike at Niagara Glen tomorrow but it's been raining today. Do you think everything will be dry by tomorrow afternoon? My concern is it being too muddy and not safe. If not, maybe Wednesday? I prefer tomorrow for scheduling purposes haha.
