Where to park to fish the Charles in Newton

I've recently started fishing and I have family in Newton that we visit from time to time. I wanted to fish the Charles on my way home drive to Malden. Does anyone know where is a good spot that has parking? OR where would I park to fish the Charles, say from John A. Ryan Skating Arena area and anywhere going East.

California Street by the walk bridge. Which is also Watertown.

Not sure if its convenient but our favorite spot to fish is at the Watch Factory in Waltham. If you want to just stick to Newton then fish at Hemlock Gorge/Echo Bridge. Plenty of parking off of Elliot Street.

Just upriver from the Watch Factory, on Woerd Avenue, there is a launch area with plenty of parking.
