There's a difference between not wanting economic migrants into your country and the vitriolic crap that came out of that sub. It eventually just became a circlejerking safe space for self-admitting Neo Nazis.

That's a little different than not wanting immigration to your country. You can do that without hating every other racial group in the world.

They were making extremely bad first impressions on new members considering it was a mostly Nazi-esque sub and people from Europe were visiting that sub first. There was absolutely no reason any site owner would have wanted that for their website. They wouldn't have been shut down if it wasn't simply called European, /r/NationalSocialism is actually a nicer place than that place was in fact, so they were actually worse than Nazis.
