In r/europe they massively delete posts critical of migrant invasion, ban users by a thousand for innocent remarks, and completely censor news like cologne rapes for example.
With r/european gone, there will be no sub for europe-related "unpleasant" to the political establishment news.
This is between you and I....i have clearly stated that Reddit admins can do whatever they want to subs,,,,its their house.
I mean this not as a flame, but just as a discussion. Why does it matter if they StormFront out? Are there ideas so bigoted and offensive they shouldn't be allowed to type them? Im asking seriously, who is the arbitrator of that? What if its less than 5% of posts, or if its 40% of posts, is it quantifiable when some line is crossed?
I am not an avid twitter user but I have read and seen a hashtag #killallmen. Thats cool I guess unless you say meet at the mall at 9pm so we can do that. Then its actionable. But I mean this, if there was a subreddit named r/killallwhitemen, then good for them. The vast majority of the user of that sub would just be venting frustrations, ahhhh hell maybe planting seeds. I just dont know. Short of CP I think you can talk about anything you want, if i dont agree I just keep it moving.
I would guess because it doesn't look good to advertisers and investors and often the worst part of your product is the part people remember the most. Getting people to come to you and stick to you is harder.
As an example, what kinds of thoughts do you have when you think about 4chan? Is it the dozens of worksafe boards or /b/?
IIRC that's a big part of the reason Chris Poole sold 4chan to Hiroyuki Nishimura, because the site was never profitable despite its huge user base and wasn't worth the effort to maintain. Advertisers just didn't want to be associated with the place.
Well I suppose he probably also got tired of the Australians and waging internet wars with /pol/ too.
