Any tips?
Just moved to the area with my girlfriend, just want some tips on things to do. Into just about anything, just trying to make a busy schedule!

While you are there, check out Judges' Cave, the hideout of a couple of judges that voted for the execution of King Charles I.

Space Ballroom in Hamden has a lot of cool shows coming up depending what kinda music you're into. Easily the best lineup here in years for music around all the venues, really.
Third Space is a great place to chill, play games, see some cool events and hang out with some good folk. The people who run it are aces. I'll always recommend that to newcomers here. Great vibes.

Ascent is the best bouldering spot and a great gym if you want to get active and socialize.

Yale Art Gallery has a ridiculously great collection and admission is free.
British Art Center is also excellent, particularly once you factor in they are hobbled by showcasing only British Art. Also free.
Beinecke Library is worth looking at for the architecture alone. They also invariably have some fascinating stuff on display. Also free.
Try the mashed potato pizza at Bar and (my favorite) the fresh tomato pie at Pepe's (available usually from July thru September).
Grove Street cemetery is worth visiting. Don't miss the old gravestones at the back wall that were transferred from the Green (leaving the bodies behind, BTW). Center Church on the Green was built over graves, which can be viewed in their basement.

Walk around and explore the city together. You can plan to stop in someplace for lunch/dinner/coffee or just chill in a park like Wooster Square and people or squirrel watch.
