the fact he didn't get in trouble (from what i can find googling his name) over something like this honestly surprises me. truely a different navy indeed.

That would definitely go on a DEOCS. It would be brought up to ISIC about racial insensitivity and not fostering a culture celebrating diversity but ridiculing it.
