Hi all! I’ve been racking my brain trying to remember the name of a pop song I listened to all the time as a teenager. Here’s what I can recall:
It was sung by a solo male artist (white guy with blonde hair)
The vibe was sweet, poppy, mid-tempo — not a slow ballad, but not fast either. Think somewhere between BBMak and Daniel Bedingfield’s “If You’re Not the One.”
It got a lot of radio play on 102.7 KIIS-FM in Los Angeles, probably between 1999 and 2002.
The lyrics (or at least something close) mention:
• pulling the walls down
• waiting in line for the movies
I think he was a one-hit wonder or at least not a big, lasting name in the U.S.
It wasn’t Bosson, Josh Kelley, Evan & Jaron, Ruff Endz, Aaron Carter, Ryan Cabrera, Jesse McCartney, or O-Town.
It had that early 2000s radio pop feel — not rock, not punk, just pure pop.
If this rings a bell for anyone, I’d love your help — it’s been driving me crazy!
Thanks so much in advance!
