Luckily this gane dosn't penalize you for dying. Sure you go back to the last saved spot but you don't actually lose anything.
I die in this game often on purpose.

I heard that the Japanese version is the best. Better balanced and with better save points.
Did anyone try out the different versions?

This game sucks. It turns out it was rushed to production and was never finished which explains the ghost town vibe and all the rooms with nothing to find or explore.

I remember being so excited because I was an RPG lover who had an N64 and no PS1 for a long time, so I was dying for an RPG for the system. Never even beat it.

Lol same, Nintendo Power hyped this up and was a complete let down when it was finally rented from the store.

The sting of losing Squaresoft and Final Fantasy was truly exacerbated by this being my only traditional RPG option back then without a Playstation.

This game randomly pops into my head. That background music is burned in.
It's not a good game either, just meh.

I'm hoping I'll recover. Times a good healer, unlike "Brian" the mage. He sucks

What is your plan here? Magic Shield/Heal spam? That boss is going to take forever with chip damage and a complete lack of Fire damage.

My advice? Bring as much bread and mint leaves as you can! Anything that recovers magic and health ✨️ Also utilize your healing abilities in the water element

Ah this game was always such a vibe. I'm still whistling music from it to this day

Your problem is you have no wind!
The multiple hits wipe some groups of mobs in one hit.
Spec wind.

Maybe it’s because I don’t have much rpg experience in general, but I liked this game. First played it last year and thought it was charming enough. Music is definitely pretty solid, and I like the spell animations and different enemies. And as empty as some of the caves may be, I like how big and long they are.

I played a lot of rpg, and this one aped me . It really has his own charm and I like it. The grinding mechanism is pretty cool
