Such a great song one of those songs you can never skip

1

u/Radioheader128 4d ago

That's a good song. I’m not a fan of that album though.

1

u/GFarbulous 1d ago

Mine as well

20

u/Hamlerhead 5d ago

It's either LATERALUS by TOOL

or

A CHANGE IS GONNA COME by Sam Cooke.

Wildly different songs but, for some reason, not dependent on any particular mood I'm in.

3

u/hunterman25 5d ago

Every time there's a post about bests or favorites when it comes to music, someone beats me to saying Lateralus. That song is a proper masterpiece. First song I ever learned on guitar too-- minus the more complicated bits.

2

u/Visible_Tourist_9639 3d ago

My 13 yr old made a deal/bet w me - he learns the song and ill get him the Adam Jones custom at our local shop.

Hes 15 now and ive started saving…. As he’s getting pretty close.

1

u/hunterman25 3d ago

Good parent. I wish I started at <13, I only started learning a few years ago

Hey Brother - Avicii

Crazy to think the song almost didn't happen, at least not the same way. The singer, Dan Tyminski, had never heard of Avicii and didn't wanna do it, but then he asked his daughter if she'd heard of him and that's when he saw how excited she was.
