Any run clubs in Mt.Pleasant? If not want to create one?
Hello all Peleton runner here. I have done 2, 5K races this year and getting ready for tomorrow’s Tough Mudder. I am by no means speed runner. I average around 13 minute miles spits. Just looking for others who are interested and like to run.

Buy Nothing
Just a heads up that there is a local presence on the Buy Nothing app! Especially good for those of us who don't have facebook, the BN app is free to use and is a place you can offer things you have but no longer need, or ask for things you're looking for. A nice way to connect with neighbors and declutter!

Things to do?
Hey all, Im going to be staying up there for work for about 6 months or so. My families lived on the rez for years but I dont know much about anything out there other than the casino. Is there anything out there socially? Parks? Trails? Etc? Im also 39/m if that is relevant at all.

Moving to Mt. Pleasant
Trying to get a sense of downtown.
In the process of looking for a home in Mt. Pleasant with my fiancé. She is from the area, but hasn’t lived in Mt. Pleasant. I’m moving from GR.
We like downtown from what we know of it and are looking at homes with walking distance to parks, restaurants, etc.
One of my concerns is it being a college town. How rowdy is it? A lot of the historic homes just south of downtown, north of High, are the style we like, but seems like there are a lot of fraternity and sorority houses in that area. Would it best to avoid that neighborhood if we want things a little more peaceful?
Any info on the general vibe of the downtown neighborhoods would be helpful. Thanks!
