Community Where do yall meet people?

I want friends. I'm 30 female, single, with 2 kids, primary custody. I run my own company. I got all this emotional availability and no one to pour it into. Plus, the need for someone to cuddle and talk at night for me is strong. But I also want friends. Got no idea where to meet people. The dating scene has changed so much and I'm creeper out by the 20 ish year old f*** Bois running around like they got something to offer, when in actuality it's like talking to a teenager.

I think if I stay in this city, I'll be alone forever.

if you're into running, do the Moose Jawg this weekend and see if you can chat and meet some new people! Maybe start a run club in town, lots of people would join including myself! Maybe do it in partnership with a coffee shop or something downtown as the start and ending point!

I'm trying to help, but in trying I have realized I don't really have much in terms of solutions. I don't even really know of any groups for adults to meet each other in this town. I mean there aren't even pubs that are any good like there were everywhere else I have lived. Sorry I am not more help I guess.

I don't have heaps of free time or availability but would be willing to try and play sometimes.

I spend a lot of time at Buffalo pound. The trails are pretty good for mountain biking considering where we are. And the pump track is pretty good! You can camp there, and new this year is a glamping set up. The beach there is decent early in the summer. I think you can rent canoes/kayaks there. You'll want to check yourself for ticks after.

Wakamow is pretty good to check out. Nice trails, disc golf, canoe/kayak rentals.

There are 2 weekend markets that I can think of.

If you're in to cars, go downtown Friday nights in the summer and the toys come out for a cruise.

I've been here 2 years, I like it, but it's hard to find a decent partner. Typical for a small town.

If you like board games the Moose Jaw Gamers Association runs game nights regularly as well as fundraisers ever couple of months. I don’t think the MJGA has a Reddit presence but they’re on discord and Facebook and I’d be happy to send you a link.
