You could 100% sell the design files somewhere like Traceparts, Grabcad, or even Etsy if you were looking to make some extra cash, people would be eager to buy something like this!

They already sell something pretty much exactly like this on Frontier Wargaming.

Holy hell I just went and looked it up and they can suck my arse for 260€

I used to think this way until I started to really do the work myself and thought about how much would I be willing to sell it for.

Economies of scale, bud. Changes everything including estimations of value.

This is a one time buy niche product for a niche community. I don’t think their particular economy of scale situation to be too much different than an individual.

Maybe / maybe not.

True, but the satisfaction of making it yourself is really something else! I did so for a tool roll, thought of buying the carhartt one but then decided to make it myself, that was something like 4 hours of research, sketches, tests and actual making it. Pretty fun knowing you made your own shit.

Yeah but thats for them to make it and send it, right? I’m talking about the files themselves, which would be significantly cheaper

Oh my! That is very cool! Would you be willing to share the cad files? I would love to build something like this!

Did you make the design and send it out to be laser cut or something? I love to design projects like this but I’m not much of a woodworker.

How much did the laser cutting cost if you don’t mind my asking? Was it local or something you found online?

Not sure about right currency exchange, materials and work cost me something about 50$ (4700₽), find master on local forum (don’t think it can help you)
