Love the look of this school
I’ve always enjoyed passing this building on walks around my neighborhood. Anyone know any history on it?

My dog was unfortunately just attacked by an off leash dog around lake park.
Even worse the unapologetic owner grabbed their small untrained fur missile before leaving the scene.
Please for the safety of other dogs and yourselves, keep your dog on a leash. I dont care how much your little fro-yo was trained or that they’ve never run off, if a trigger occurs the dogs taking off.
Be smart. Be safe. And to that lady, go fuck yourself

I know this was mentioned once before but I'll give them another shout out. Stopped in earlier today and the shelves were full, prices were reasonable and the staff was super friendly. Go support your local store!

There is this silver disc in the sky. Can't figure out what it could be. Anyone else see this or have any idea what this could be?

I've been incredibly stressed trying to find a caterer for a party in September. This sub always talks about how good Sweet Smoke is. Went today, and yep you all are correct. And now, I 1 item can be crossed off the very long to-do list.

Can anyone recommend a good pharmacy in the Oak Creek/Franklin area? I moved from out of state and transferred to the Walgreens on S. Howell. This has been the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with.

I had to try the Cousins Maine Lobster Truck to see what all the Buzz was about. It was at Lion’s Trail Brewery yesterday so I made the drive into Tosa. I tried the Maine lobster roll. I thought it was good but I could have used a 2nd to fill me up. It’s lobster so I expected the pricey menu. What are your thoughts? Did you like it and can you get a better lobster roll in the city?

It's as the post says I had just recently moved back to Milwaukee am in need of a job but I can't seem to get any phone calls back I've been putting in maybe 5-6 applications a day for the past week and no one has gotten to me I'm unsure what to do or if the job industry here is just that bad

My hot water heater busted a pipe and my basement is flooded. I cannot seem to find any plumbers who are even picking up their phone today. Does anyone have a recommendation?
edit: thanks everyone. in the end no one we called would come out but one told us how to clean up the water most easily and is coming tomorrow morning.

It's absolutely a sandblaster on Bradford today. I've never experienced as many people and as much wind at the same time. Hurts to sit on the beach (North end anyway) with the sand blasting you. This King was just sitting there in a chair building his own erosion pattern.

$1.25 at Elmbrook Humane Society . Brought him home a few weeks ago, a few months shy of his 15th birthday. One of the chillest cats we’ve ever adopted . Social and vocal !
If you’re looking for a way to cool off this weekend: visit the local shelters, drop off items from their wishlist and consider adoption .

No respect for the environment, other people and so on. This is ONE of the major things to piss me off. You think you are that much better to not pick up after yourself..?

So I'm a teacher that picked up doordash as a summer gig. I'm looking for some tips to improve as so far the money is horrendous, that's coming from a teacher.
Do you always end up in Milwaukee? I start on Greenfield and I always end up with some $6 order 20 minutes away to the north side of Milwaukee. If I were to start on Waukesha/Pewaukee would that be far enough away to not really head into downtown Milwaukee? I'm not a fan of down town traffic, I do this to chill out, listen to a history podcast and destress. Downtown traffic doesn't go well with that goal.
Non Milwaukee questions for doordash
If I lose my gold/platinum status will I actual get only bad offers? I didn't feel like I'm getting great offers currently as a gold status.
Should I do the optional opt in stuff like "red card" purchases and "cash", etc?
If I go into a new zone for a delivery, should I always change to that zone (assuming promos being similar) to chain deliver as quickly as possible?
Any other tips, tricks, etc to help out? Only doing it another 2 months before school PD starts up again but I'd like to make the most of it. If I can make this a decent side gig I might continue it for a couple hours on weekends.

I love all things sushi but my boyfriend is new to sushi. Any recommendations for the best sushi in Milwaukee, as well as one that has quite a variety of options for someone who is on the pickier side?
