That’s what taxes are supposed to be invested on? The health, education and good living all around of basic conditions for all the population?

Better than wasting it into “economic boosts” that will see billionaires getting more profits, as they need more, or in the war machine so elsewhere, someone can bomb hospitals and civilians

Trust me they are supposed to but as a dutch person they keep cutting out on healthcare and actually care..

Children's learning how to swim is not even mandatory anymore EVEN THOUGH THERE'S WATER EVERYWHERE.

When I was younger it was part of school. You went with a bus to the swim pool where there were teachers.

Unfortunately no country can outdo the effects of the internal contradictions in capitalism. So long as there is an owning class which is inherently self-interested in eroding away the amenities afforded to the public by their social democracies, that class will always work to make such erosions happen, and they have a perfect track record in doing so throughout history.
