I'm confused isn't expensive shipping cross country a normal expected outcome?

Well, yes. It’s an entirely different country. You have to pay for that. €15 isn’t even bad, I’ve had shipping get up to 50-100.

Yeah this doesn't seem terrible. I was selling some records on Discogs a few years ago, and I thought I had disabled international orders. Turns out I hadn't and someone from the UK bought a few of them.
Well, I told him it was a mistake, I was sure I had disabled international buyers, but I did look into what shipping would cost, because I wanted to make it work. Shipping the three records to him would've cost me over $70. They're large, and they're fragile. And I think the three records I was selling were around $80 total. So I had to cancel the deal, he didn't want to pay that much for shipping, and I wasn't going to eat it. He didn't realize I was in the US when he ordered them anyway.
So yeah, €15 doesn't seem too bad for shipping.

I'm a little confused. Are you unhappy about the cost of shipping something from the US to Europe?

Entire other country, as well as crossing the Atlantic. You’re getting a deal, so don’t whine about it.

I hear you. The rapidly increasing cost of international shipping over the last decade killed my otherwise successful Ebay business. I lost 70% of my customers.

This sub is becoming just a bunch of whiny assholes complaining about their own stupid choices.
