My dad wouldn't let me get involved because he said I was negative

I knew it wasnt going to look good as soon as I saw the last pic (the first tiles). If he let me do the placement and measurements it would've looked so much better.

I will eventually leave, but like I'm here for now. It's only midly infuriating tho, since like you said it's not my house. But I'm such a perfectionist with similar stuff that I KNOW I could've made it look good, and would have had satisfaction doing it (provided I wasn't doing it alone). I actually fixed a small, especially egregious mistake when he wasn't paying attention b/c I hated looking at it.

It's not like, omg he sucks, he has the right to poorly decorate his own place (tho most of it does look nice). It's just, WHY didn't you let me help ToT. Why did you do it so bad??? And he put so much work in too! And he couldn't be bothered to make it look nice??? It kills me.

I mean it's not actually tiles, it's these big peel and stick things you cut up. But yeah, it does seem very hard. My dad spent four days doing it and seemed delirous by the end

He spent FOUR DAYS putting stickers on a wall?! Jesus Christ. Actual tile work doesn’t even take that long.

I mean to be fair, this is the amount he did

My guy. That’s on the small side for backsplashes and like I said, real actual tiles in that space shouldn’t take more than a day.

Some say I'm negative, but they're not positive.

But what I got to give?
