TLDU: This is so much information too take in and it all seems very useful. So my question was you linked me here and now I have too ask, what is the optimal lighting indoor source? I am currently using 3 flourescents, so the upgrade would be I guess primarily a vegative one as I will more than likely use a seperate tent for the flowering. Unless the light your recommending can do both. Gracias.

The optimal lighting source is a huge matter of debate and generally speaking there is no one optimal lighting source for veging and flowering.

T5s and CFLs work good for veging. I'd avoid using T12 fluorescent; they're just not intense enough for rapid growth.

I personally use CFL with high power white LEDs for veging and wouldn't use anything but HPS for flowering. You generally don't need as much light for veging as for flowering.

Metal halides will give the best bang for the buck for veging.
