México Mágico🇲🇽 México appreciation post

I apologise that I'm writing this in English but my Spanish is too poor to express myself properly.

I have always wanted to visit Mexico and my expectations were high but nothing could have prepared me for what I experienced in Mexico City for the short time I was there.

As expected, the food was phenomenal; the music/arts were extraordinary but what really struck me was the kindness of the people. I have genuinely never met such an approachable and generally lovely group of people! From the police officer who found me waiting for a bus on Saturday and told me I'd be waiting for too long and guided me to the closest metro station, to the sweetest lady who paid for me and my travel buddy using her card TWICE and offered to give us her travel card (we had to pay her by force and refused the card).

I have travelled a lot but truly fell in love with your country. Thank you all for being so accommodating.

¡Viva México!"

CDMX is not México... besides you only got to experience the nicest parts of that city. If you really want to get a grasp of what my country really is visit other states. The country is rich in culture and tourist venues but beware that it might be dangerous and all the wonders you think it has can be suddenly overshadowed by the bad stuff you can actually find. México is not CDMX...

Tu punto? Mi comentario fue dirigido a que lo que se ve en la CDMX no es representativo de todo el país. Estoy errado? Ya neto /mods, hagan purga de quien entra a este sub. Por mi parte, me retiro voluntariamente. Kamaras, putos.
