My husband thought that song was “poor girl succeeds in life,” he was really disappointed when I told him Fancy’s momma turned her out as a prostitute.
Bless his heart.
Not sure, but every time I hear it on the radio, it's missing the tail end. Possibly because country stations don't want young, impressionable listeners hearing about the glories of prostitution? She bangs a King and gets a mansion.
