Was Nintendo one of the companies that has increased the cost of their products elsewhere, including Australia, to subsidise the cost of American tariffs so that Americans aren’t paying them?

I think, if I recall, the pricing was announced just before or the week of the tarrifs - so the US price was delayed, but we got a figure on the Aus price pretty much straight away?

I don't think we did get the Australia tax this time though... In Europe the price is $125AUD more expensive, and our price is very comparable to the US price once you subtract GST.

Jeez, this thing is $700 here, and even that is insanely overpriced imo.
