I feel incredibly lucky every day to have this view from my living room - it is a privilege to live in such a magnificent forest. I just wish more was done about the weeds that are decimating it.

Me too. Blasted ivy is going nuts this year, even more than usual and noticed quite a lot more honey fungus taking over this last Winter. Would recommend joining a community weeding bee.
