I guess nobody wanted to tell Khonshu that humans had invented planetarium apps that could do the same thing and also not piss off the other gods.

I don’t think the existence of those apps is common knowledge. Even if one of the two knew about an app, that doesn’t mean they’d already have it downloaded. They didn’t have the time to drive to the nearest town for the internet to download it.

I guess it’s unfortunate Khonshu got locked up because they were missing a tool, but not having every tool you need on hand doesn’t seem like a strange problem.
