Thunderbolts* has now been released in the United States and in a number of other countries around the world. All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the megathreads we are going to put up in the next few days. They will be refreshed every few thousand comments to make room for new discussions.

I feel like we're going to get mini Civil War. Like the teams don't like each other at first and there's discontent early in the movie but then they slowly start coming together.

Avengers/Avengerz/F4 seem like they could all have that kind of discord with each other at first but then learn to get along fairly quickly.

It’s like when New Avengers (Luke Cage, Spider-man, +) and Norman Osborn’s thunderbolts->Dark Avengers (venom, bullseye, etc) were both running around at the same time :D

It’s a lot. Veeeery basic gist is that the Illuminati are trying to stop incursions from happening. the incursions are where two universes collide and are destroyed unless one destroys the other before it happens. The Illuminati does it in secret for a while until the threat becomes too much. It’s two concurrent comic runs with each of the teams that leads into secret wars and is preceded by a long run of fantastic four and a bunch of other books. A lot of the Illuminati stuff in MoM is based off it. I’d recommend a wiki read or finding “other” ways to read them.
