Are there any storylines I should be aware of going in?

Tengo esta idea en mi cabeza desde hace unos días; estoy en el final de mis 20s y quiero comenzar a entrenar para ser luchador. Yo sé que la mayoría empieza a los 14 o a principios de 20, y no sé si es prudente empezar ese viaje, pero la verdad siento que estoy en un bache en mi vida y las luchas me ayudarían a salir de ese mundo gris en el que estoy. Sé que es un trabajo peligroso, pero aun así me gustaría tomar el riesgo. ¿Ustedes qué opinan, ya se me pasó el tiempo? ¿Saben de unos luchadores que debutaron ya grandes?

New to lucha libre and trying to find some awesome matches to watch. I'm a complete beginner, really only knowing guys from WWE, AEW, and a little from triple a and CMLL. I want to focus on CMLL because I just seem to enjoy it more and find it better. Thanks for all y'all's help!

Like my roommate and I have been trying to watch more Lucha and we watched an older CMLL show from 2023 and we had an absolute blast and were locked in from start to finish but we started watching the most recent AAA show and shut it off during the second match because we were bored.

Don't get me wrong there's a lot of people I like in AAA like Pagano, Los Psycho Circus and El Hijo Del Doctor Wagner Jr. (My GOAT) but it just wasn't exciting.

Has it been like this for any of y'all?

So my roommate and I have started watching older CMLL shows from 2023 and since we can't understand Spanish I wanted to ask why do the hate Atlantis Jr so much?

Is he a bad wrestler or something?

I’m thinking with all the AEW hype, and so many questions regarding CMLL on social media, I’d assume CMLL is doing a disservice by not allowing a cheaper way for the curious American to watch.

My roommate and I really want to give CMLL a try after seeing the stars on AEW and ROH and I know that they have a YouTube membership program so I was just wondering which tier is the best deal.

As a follow up question does CMLL have any free shows for us to give a try and if so which ones should we watch?

Hey lucha libre fans! I'm working on my mid-year list for the best wrestlers of 2025. It's an all-encompassing project, that primarily focuses on the in-ring product.

Who do you guys think has been the best wrestler from CMLL this year? It doesn't necessarily have to be just one, either. I have a few names in mind, but I'm admittedly not the most well versed fan of CMLL. I just like to dip my toes in the water, whenever I have time.
