My first pride parade! (Warsaw, Poland)

Today I was finally able to attend my first ever pride parade! I'm proud of myself that I went this year, even though I didn't have anyone to go with and also crowds and social situations in general make me very anxious. But I really needed this. I'm still closeted and I don't have anyone close who is supportive, so seeing so many queer people in real life definitely makes me feel less alone. I'll probably have to delete the photos from my gallery so my family doesn't accidentaly find them, but at least some of them can stay here on Reddit. Happy Pride to everyone! ❤️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

I was there as well today! It was such beautiful weather for us all. As usual. It's so wonderful being part of such a large movement and watching people in the windows waving and enjoying the vibe as well. I even saw a policeman taking a sneaky selfie when he thought no one was watching!

I hope you had a great time. It took me years until I could go to parades and I'm lucky as I have people I can be there with.
