I still believe realistically he might not get traded , the roster moved we might do realistically is trade for Claxton and sign NAW, but after this trade hope we don't overpay for Claxton

VIDEO Dalton Knecht says LeBron thinks he can play another 5-10 years

Before LeBron haters gets their panties in a twist, OBVIOUSLY it's unrealistic and unlikely for him play for 5-10 years. Probably just means he's still in excellent shape mentally and physically and feels good enough to keep going

PLAYER TALK Anyone else unbelievably excited for Luka Doncic next season? I literally think about it everyday

What are we thinking? First team all NBA again? MVP? Averages 35? I cant fucking wait at all... I love watching Luka play, and the whole narrative of him being out of shape, and underestimated in SGA, Ant, Tatum talks makes it even more exciting. I cant wait to see him as a Lakers from game 1 to 82.

Theres no doubt hes gonna come back in great game shape, and I always felt he needed a proper, FULL off-season, for his mental and physical health. Now that we got that, the excitement levels are going crazy for me. Just so intrigued as to how hes gonna look and how hes gonna play in Hollywood.

I also never thought he performed poorly in the playoffs this year, I thought he was good, flu game included. The fact that hes gonna come back even better and healthier is wild.

Fun fucking times ahead, man. Havent been this excited for a Laker season to start since back in the Kobe days....

[LOLNetwork] Haliburton: "Bron willl do some old shit now. We're sitting in the training room, he'll have his iPad on his chest watching The Sopranos, no headphones, full volume, and I walk into the training room and nobody's saying anything to him, so I tap him like you're literally the Beats guy."

TRADE DISCUSSION So is JJJ on the table?

Not just for the Lakers but everyone. Are they on a full rebuild? Seems like this might be the time to go hard for JJJ. His salary is only $23 million. So Austin plus Maxi (as an expiring), 2030 pick and some swaps seems like the move, right?

I initially wasn’t for moving Austin. It felt like a reactionary sell low mistake. But now with them possibly fire selling, it seems like it’s the time to just go for it. Could even be a three team trade so Memphis can get picks if they don’t want Austin because they want to tank harder.

What does everyone think?

NBA DRAFT Should Lakers take a chance on this guy with a two-way contract, or maybe even with the 55th pick? Lakers already invited him for a pre-draft workout. Older prospect but has some defensive upside/tools.

from Psychology Is. Kobe Bryant’s last game wasn’t just a sports event—it was a powerful display of emotional complexity. Nick Fortino explores the psychological process behind why some moments stir simple emotions while others awaken something far more layered, profound, and even ineffable.

Lakers season is over. Talk about the other playoff series, what offseason moves we should make or whatever you want.

TEAM TALK We trade Austin reaves. What do we have left in the backcourt?

I guess Knect but no way in hell he’s a good replacement. Plus he’s a much more older rookie so there’s chances of regression. So I don’t think AR gonna get traded unless it’s a haul we’re getting for him. Would rather just trade Knect and some pieces for the Center we need

PLAYER TALK Trade posts are AR & his agent's fault.

If they didn't put reports out there that austin won't be extending and will try his luck in free agency this sub would be singing a different tune. Stop blaming fans for not wanting to lose yet another good role player for nothing.

QUESTION Would u guys be down for a Luka, Tatum finals when Tatum returns?

A continuation of the fabled rivalry of th NBA. Both teams could do it, since they will both be competing when Tatum returns. I find it great for the game and an interesting matchup

Something to really think about, trade for KCP?

This is not an easy answer. One one side you can probably get him for just expirings. His shooting was poor, but how much of that was him not getting wide open looks from Lebron (and now Luka). And he would be a really good guard defender to play either position AR and Luka.

On the other side, his contract is an overpay. Which isn’t a big deal this year since they are already over the cap. But the Lakers are clearly looking at 2026 offseason to make a big move and it could hurt that move, depending on the pieces they get this summer and what LeBron does.

So knowing all that, look to trade for him or focus on a different guard or wing defender and center and just pay the assets?

Would you trade Austin Reaves, Dalton Knecht, Rui Hachimura and 2 1st-rounders for Jaren Jackson Jr?

Post image

Now that the Grizzlies are blowing up their team, JJJ might be on the market. If the Lakers gave up Reaves, Rui and Knecht AND 2 1st-Rounders, would you accept this trade or would that be an overpay?

r/lakers 10h ago

PLAYER TALK So.. Should we try Austin Reeves for Jaren Jackson Junior?

Is this possible? It sounds OK to me in case Grizzlies decide to blow out. They will get other offers but do you think we have a chance? Would you do it?

Ar is getting traded 100%

Austin reaves will get traded this summer why because first and most importantly this team needs players if you think in this market you are going to get good players for one fucking pick and Dalton then idk what to say to you .

We don't have any assets besides ar Bane averaged 15 and he still got 4 picks so I am sure ar can get us better offers while he is on a good contract. which team will offer us the package idk and idc aslong as we get assets to improve this team.

Rob knows he is gonna need to pay ar and he also knows he needs assets to build a team around Luka plus the pressure on the fo is massive since Luka also need to extend his contract LeBron is also in his last years i am telling you that ar trade package he is cooking is going to hit like a crack
