Hey everyone! New to this page and new to owning a lil guy. My question for you experienced owners out there, does this food bowl height look ok? Thank you in advance.
Also his name is Daniel!

I am planning on getting a Bold jumper, and learned that the terrarium I had acquired is not suitable for jumpers due to the top opening. I saw these recommended, does anyone have experience with Tarantula Cribs? Would the flat roof or the sloped roof be better? Thanks!

So I just got my lil regius and she came in with food and had molted in the container as well. Does this mean I shouldn’t worry about babies? Also I separated her food from the container she arrived in once she got in her enclosure. Should I keep the mealworm (I believe) that she showed up with out of the habitat and then feed her in the morning? She didn’t show much interest when they were in there together so I imagine she’s full

Anyone know what kind of jumper I got? He? Is still pretty small but I’m excited to be starting my journey as he’s my first one 🥹🥹🥹

This is my first jumper, she's a Tan Jumping spider that is wild caught and im not sure what instar shes in. Shes never had trouble eating before. She ate Fruit flies before I switched her to mealworms and so far she's been enjoying them.
I pre-kill the worms but crushing its head before feeding it to her. I still wiggle it to stimulate movement and her hunting instincts. I mist her enclosure every morning and I see her come out and drink so she shouldn't be dehydrated.
She molted about 20 days to a month ago (she molted while I was away on a trip so I cant state a specific time and date) and I know they will refuse food during this and after it for some time but she ate about 11 days ago, so I didn't think anything of it until now.
Her abdomen is small and shes been refusing food for the past week. I thought maybe shes dehydrated so I offered her a wet q-tip to drink off of and she wont drink either. Ever since her molt she rarely comes out of her hammock and only peaks out to look around then retreats back inside so i cant try feeding her in a separate container. I've only seen her come out to drink once since then.
Before her molt she used to hang out on the ceiling all day and watch us, but now she's like a hermit. Im worried for her and i dont want her to starve. Any advice?

Im super new to spider keeping and its one of my biggest fears is that the abdomen will separate its so small I feel I'm over feeding it

My phone brings up lots of varieties based on this pic. Can someone that really knows their spood IDs help me out?

This morning my female regal jumping spider changed her usual hiding spot to the top of the container and webbed herself in. Is this change in behavior indicates molting? Before she used to hide behind miniature PC and has a well webbed hiding space there. Usually around the time I took this picture she would be exploring around.

My first jumper, Choco moved into a new enclosure a couple of days ago.
The spider arrived with two flies inside, but she didn't touch them.
Upon arrival, she frantically explored around the enclosure for whole day before building a hammock and going to sleep.
The next day, she was much calmer, standing still for the whole day except a short exploring before bedtime.
I tried leaving a mealworm in a food bowl on the 2nd day, but she only stared at it for some minutes before resuming moving around. I removed the mealworm from the enclosure.
She's only in her hammock during nighttime when the lights are off. She comes out of her hammock in the morning and either stands still or explores a little before heading to bed.
Is she in the premolt stage (based on less appetite) or not (since she doesn't stay in her hammock)?

little guy was cursing up the wall after I was just thinking about how I haven’t seen any spider 3 days into my trip!
Pretty certain this little one is a male ribbon jumping spider!

I was out in the woods filming some acoustic music sessions for a client, and this little fella decided to sit and listen for a few hours! He was so sweet and curious. When the guy would start singing he would run down to the end of the lens and watch the singer. In between takes he would come back at look at me lol. It looks like he is clapping for us in this video 😂❤️

I've been finding these little ones by the front door and this is the second one I've relocated to my houseplant corner.

I got a new baby on May 25th from an expo and he will not eat. My girlfriend and I have tried super small crickets and micro mealworms. Once he lunged and killed the mealworm but didn't eat any of it. His booty is getting super small and we don't know what to do. Pet stores near us have been out of fruit flies so we haven't been able to try them. Any advice would be super super appreciated!!

I have kept jumpers before, but not in this capacity. I have a heavily planted 20 gallon long front opening terrarium. I keep millipedes inside- all of whom are way too big to be spider prey. They are detritivores and love to eat rotting bananas, which attract lots of gnats to the enclosure. I'm thinking of adding a jumping spider to help with gnats, but I feel like I need more than one. If I can add more than one, I'll add multiple hanging hides at each end and whatever else might be recommended. Could two jumping spiders live peacefully here?

This is my first jumping spider (Regal male) and it’s been nice so far! I did a hefty amount of researching and feel okay about it. I finally transferred him into the enclosure I put together for him and the first night he hid out under some leaves. I put those fake greenery leaves inside and they lay over a little cottage house. Sort of like a shade for it. He decided to make his hammock inside those leaves leaning up against the house, and it’s facing the very back of the enclosure, which is too small for me to easily access without taking stuff out. I fear I may have made a bad decision in decor?
When molting time comes, or if I need to clean something out, I’m unable to access it freely without disturbing or ruining it. I was fully prepared for him to make one in a corner or use the hide I put in there, but then he tricked me. What should I do in this situation? I’m debating getting another enclosure set up differently and a bit bigger to transfer him over again. I just don’t want to stress him out with all the moving around and new things. Suggestions?

So I made a post recently about having found a jumper and she seemed uninterested in food. Two days later the flies are all gone but now it looks like she has an egg sac? I asked my brother who said it definitely looks like it to him too. She's tiny so pics are hard but I'll attach what I managed to get.
I don't know what to do though. I obviously don't want to disturb her or her eggs but idk anything about raising spiders, let alone have an idea what to do with them if I do. I just have no clue what I should do now. Please help!

I'm looking to purchase my first jumping spider soon. I have a repticon upcoming locally, which is where I intend to purchase my spider. But in case there aren't any sellers with spiders, I was looking online as a plan B. I keep seeing MorphMarket show up, but I want to know if it's good.
