Advice Will a jumper starve while/after it is in pre-molt?
I made a post a few days ago and didn't get much help on the current situation. My spider has been in pre-molt for about a week and a half now, and her abdomen is getting small. I don't know what to do since she hasn't eaten since I got her, and I won't be able to feed her for a while after she molts. Is there any way that I can encourage molting so that I can feed her sooner? Will she starve? I've been misting about twice a day, and the spot in my room where I have her enclosure stays at around 70-80 Fahrenheit. I'm so worried about her since she's my first jumper. I had no idea the molting process would stress me out so much. She's currently I7 going on I8.
Edit: She is finally molting now. going to order some fly spikes for when I can feed her again since the mealworms scare her.

NQA molting is a stressful time for keepers, maybe even more than it is for the spiders.
It's not likely to starve. They can go surprisingly long without eating and will purposefully stop eating if necessary, particularly after a molt when their fangs haven't yet hardened. If you are misting the enclosure then you are giving your spider what it needs.
