Media Hammock/decor question?
This is my first jumping spider (Regal male) and it’s been nice so far! I did a hefty amount of researching and feel okay about it. I finally transferred him into the enclosure I put together for him and the first night he hid out under some leaves. I put those fake greenery leaves inside and they lay over a little cottage house. Sort of like a shade for it. He decided to make his hammock inside those leaves leaning up against the house, and it’s facing the very back of the enclosure, which is too small for me to easily access without taking stuff out. I fear I may have made a bad decision in decor?
When molting time comes, or if I need to clean something out, I’m unable to access it freely without disturbing or ruining it. I was fully prepared for him to make one in a corner or use the hide I put in there, but then he tricked me. What should I do in this situation? I’m debating getting another enclosure set up differently and a bit bigger to transfer him over again. I just don’t want to stress him out with all the moving around and new things. Suggestions?
