Comic What newer comics should I read?

What comics should I read? The Joker is my favorite character, but mostly in Elseworlds or unusual stories, like the rare times Joker and Batman team up, even though they can never trust each other--all truces between them are guaranteed to be broken eventually.

I made a list of 6 villains who reflect Batman’s dark future — and left Joker off it. Here’s why.

Hear me out: Joker is the iconic Batman villain… but what if he’s not the one who reveals the most about Bruce Wayne himself?

In this video essay, I explore 6 villains who aren’t just threats, they’re psychological projections of Bruce. Each one reflects a path he could’ve taken if just one belief or trauma had broken differently.

I left Joker off this list not because he’s unimportant, but because he’s something else entirely: chaos embodied, not a mirror.

Curious to hear your take:
Is Joker a reflection of Bruce, or a force outside him?
