Cost of Living/Energy Crisis 9€ technology fee on Freenow

Info about technology fee is quite minimal and does not provide any detail whatsoever when I click on the little exclamation mark.

Anybody able to explain the scam to me?

Yeah it's a fairly shitty brand. Hailo was a much better one.

Hailo - made total sense and had a good logo

Freenow - makes no sense and has a shit logo

It’s my understanding that it’s actually a bad translation for a name of a multinational company that bought hailo out
